<p>經過轉職快一年，我開始反思這一年所經歷過的轉變與未來的方向，為了讓這些思緒不會像浮雲流水一般走過不留痕跡並化為可實踐的行動，我加入了Paul的<a href="https://reinvent.think-boundless.com/courses/reinvent-course">Reinvent: Life &amp; Work Beyond The Default Path</a>的線上課程，期待透過跟世界各地的人進行連結並一起為各自人人生做些什麼．今天第一次課程結束後思緒大爆發深覺不能不分享啊！以下就是上課到現在的心得～</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">線上課程第一週內容：找到生命的對話</h2>



<p>第一次的Reinvent課程線上見面討論會在好山好水的苗栗西湖展開，參加這次美國與亞洲時區討論的主持人有兩位，一位是課程的創辦者保羅，另一位是來自紐約<a href="https://www.bfree.live/whoweare">b*free</a>的創辦人、有13年自雇經驗、主要幫公司企業進行顧問、指導商業與心靈方展的Nita Baum，以及來自賓州、越南、紐約、台灣等國家、各在人生不同階段的課程參與者． </p>



<p>課程開始前因為已經有一次kick-off call，我大概可以想像大家在不同時區進行分享會是多麽的有趣，實際進行時看著螢幕背後的西湖與安靜的苗栗山林，還是很驚艷於跟來自世界各地的人建立連結竟然是可以如此容易又難得的事． </p>



<p>線上聚會前大家已完成準備週的課程閱讀，包括</p>



<ul class="wp-block-list"><li>&lt;&lt;優秀的綿羊>>一書作者William Deresiewicz關於領導與孤獨的想法</li><li>在日本與強尼促膝長談關於生命的意義在於能夠與某種大於自身存在的對話</li><li>開創屬於自己的人生可能會經歷到的四個階段</li><li>定義現階段想要有的轉變</li><li>思考一個已經走過你的路、想要向其汲取經驗的一個path expert．</li></ul>



<p>原本以為經過這一整年與保羅的對話，Reinvent課程對我應該不會有太大困難才對．沒想到前天晚上看到那個聯絡path expert挑戰還是讓我整個崩潰癱軟在老爸的書桌上QAQ </p>



<p>不過在癱軟後還是重新振作，邊抑制抗衡自己胃在翻滾、頭暈目眩與向海浪襲來的脆弱感，邊擬了沒有這門課我可能永遠都不願打開信箱撰寫的一封信．保羅在課程中分享，他自己的那封email 躺在草稿夾裡六個月才終於有勇氣寄出，究竟我的寄不寄得出呢lol? </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">認識多層迷走神經理論(Polyvagal Theory)</h2>



<p>課程的開始Nita帶我們認識多層迷走神經理論（polyvagal Theory），並讓我們各自分享在什麼情境下，我們可以很輕鬆進入social emgagement狀態，自然地與他人互動、感到正面的情緒；以及在什麼情況下，身體會無意識的啟動我們的戰鬥或逃跑反應（fight-or-flight response)機制，讓我們開始自我防禦、挖個洞鑽起來或想逃離現場，而當戰鬥或逃跑機制被啟動時，我們能做什麼來將它轉換為social engagement模式． <br></p>

<p>其中一位成員分享，當他發覺他正在談話的對象視他們的關係僅僅為transactional relationship，而不是真誠的想建立關係時，他的 戰鬥或逃跑反應就會被啟動．對我來說，當我知道相處的對象能夠完全的接納我、不帶評判、敞開心胸的與我進行對話時，我最能坦然的與這個人相處、能夠完全的活在當下、不怕隱藏自己的好奇心；而只要當我或與我對話的人在未意識到的情況下，被指出我的深層恐懼，我的腦袋就會一片空白、開始說出之後會後悔的不夠真誠的話、想辯護點什麼或想要站到強勢的位子上．然而，當我可以辨認我正在感受的是先前未意識到的恐懼，也就是將恐懼從未意識到的心底深處帶到認知的腦袋裡、並且完全接受自己的在此刻感受的脆弱感時，我可以感到身體立刻的放鬆、呼吸的溫熱與更清醒的看著與對話者的關係及對話者本身所陷住的情緒．</p>



<p>Nita也提醒我們，除了了解自己在社會情境中的不同反應外，能夠察覺對方正在處於一個戰鬥或逃跑反應的反應並真誠的表達同理心，而不是同樣被動態交互情緒所制約，也是很重要的一個能力．</p>



<p>這個小活動也讓我了解一件事：當我的戰鬥或逃跑反應被啟動時，也就是我辨認最深層的恐懼，以及恐懼下對於希望達到最生命最深刻盼望的慾望的時刻 （比如說: 當一個好教練、希望被所愛的人接納、希望被視為是值得建立連結的人等等）． </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">分享各自的啟發與目標</h2>

<p>課程的後半段是初次見面的同學們，分享各自的生命故事、我們是誰、現在在地球的哪個角落、什麼書、podcast形塑了現在了我們，以及我們想要的轉變是什麼．形塑我的除了某天在前往上班的公車上邊讀邊爆淚的優秀的綿羊外，還有4 Hour Work Week(每周工作4小食，書名很陳腐但裡面定義恐懼的部分完全改變我的人生）、Anything You Want、 Design Your Life (做自己的生命設計師) 跟 Essentialism (少，還要更好）</p>



<p>當然看書可以給我各式各樣的點子，但是是在後來到東南亞真正認識從世界各地移居當的digital nomads、跟這些活生生的人建立連結、進行真實的對談後，書上的點子才開始變成人生的一部份．(還記得從清邁回到台北、穿著高跟鞋走進辦公室時，收到在清邁認識來自瑞士定居當地朋友的訊息”Remember：life is too short to spend in a small cube.”) </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">轉變不只是換工作，而是透徹地改變生活</h2>



<p>對我來說，選擇一個新的轉變不是從一個工作換到另一個工作而已，而是可以開始決定要怎麼重新建構生活的所有面向、建立與你價值觀相符的生活圈與生態圈，打造屬於你自己的小宇宙．</p>



<p>課程裡一個練習室要定義自己的轉變，然而就像David Whyte在Three Marriages裡說到，我們要做的不是達到親密關係、工作、與自我這三個承諾的「平衡」，因為這個元素是互相建構依靠、而不是獨立的三個面向，所沒有「平衡」可言．（那究竟要達到什麼呢？我還沒讀完這本書所以也不能告訴你:P) 要選擇一個乾淨俐落的shift對我來說也是極度困難，所以最後交出的作業大概長這樣 “Test out new idea, reframing meaning of work to my life; explore relationship between working and learning” </p>



<p>會這樣寫是因為自從轉職當教練後，健身、教學、學習知識、實踐練習已經不能像以前工作、下班一樣可以如此的清楚得被分割．在自己有熱情工作的好處就是工作再也不討人厭，所有工作都令人感到期待，但反面就是我已經沒有辦法分辨什麼是工作、什麼是學習、什麼是單純的休息．你學到的知識會被驗證在教課的有效性上、學到的知識會需要身體實踐做驗證，原本健身作為逃離上班、跟自己相處的私人時間，也變成像學生證明自己是否有資格做為教練的一個途徑．我隨時都在做自己喜歡的事，但所有事情都可以變成市場價值被衡量，幾乎沒有任何時刻可以享受學習原本的單純快樂．因此自己設定的新目標是「希望能重新建立跟工作與生活的框架、探索學習與工作的關係、並且嘗試時不時冒出的新點子」 </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">勇敢地建立連結</h2>



<p>課程進入尾聲，保羅要大家分享有沒有想要認識、但沒有途徑可以認識的人需要幫忙牽線，住在紐約、在科技業工作十年兩個孩子的爸說了一個他景仰的作家的名字（我心理竊笑因為我完全預測保羅等一下要說什麼），保羅說好，你的任務就是在課程結束前寄e-mail給他，最差最差就是得不到回音，不會有任何損失．大家看到他硬擠出微笑說好與掩藏不住的崩潰感，然後每個人都崩潰了一次，好險我昨天已經崩潰過了哈哈，能夠有同袍敦促你去採取那些讓你感到uncomfortable、但是對你生命轉變至關重要的行動，才是加入課程的價值啊 😉 <br></p>

<p>最後Nita帶我們做簡單的呼吸冥想，並且釐清自己在剩下的四周想要抱持的意圖(intention)是什麼，以及想要設定的目標(goals)是什麼，並鼓勵我們在探索的路上保持自己的playfulness，continue to be playful with what it is while moving to the unknown．結束今天的第一次聚會． 期待下周的線上聚會，目前想要US/Asia跟 European Call都加入聽聽不同文化成員的對人生的思考想法． </p>
